Watertown Man Faces 5th OUI Charge After Allegedly Hitting Pole

A Watertown man faces charges of a fifth OUI offense after allegedly getting into an accident on Halloween. On Oct. 31 at 11:28 p.m., police responded to Palfrey Street after an accident was reported. A black Ford pickup truck struck a telephone pole, and then left the scene, said Watertown Police Lt. James O’Connor. Officers found the vehicle on Everett Avenue near Palfrey Street, and it had extensive damage, O’Connor said.

Watertown Police Make Prostitution Bust at Massage Parlor

Police arrested a New York woman on prostitution charges after a sting at a Watertown massage parlor. 

Detectives investigated the Herbal Massage parlor at 195 Mt. Auburn St. after receiving numerous complaints from residents, according to the Watertown Police announcement. A sting operation was conducted and an employee of Herbal Massage was arrested. He Chun Ma, 43, of Flushing, N.Y., was charged with sexual conduct for a fee, according to police. “The Watertown Police Department would like to thank the public for their help in keeping our community safe,” the announcement said.

Waltham Man Allegedly Sent Obscene Photos to Teen

Watertown Police arrested a Waltham man for allegedly texting obscene pictures to a teen-aged boy. 

On Oct. 23, A 15-year-old boy from Watertown contacted police about receiving obscene photos on his cellphone, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn. “Through an investigation police were able to discover the phone the photos came from belonged to Joseph Doucet of Waltham,” Lawn said. Joseph J. Doucet, 30, of Waltham, was arrested at 3:45 p.m. on Oct. 23.

Police Log: Man Arrested for OUI; Church, Diner Broken Into

Sept. 29, 11:23 p.m.: A hit-and-run accident occurred at Union Street near Eliot Street, and when police arrived they spotted a damaged vehicle a little way down the street and the driver inside. He told police he was reading a text when he hit the vehicle. Police performed field sobriety tests.
