Feb. 23, 6 a.m.: Police served a warrant on Sycamore Street. The 24-year-old Watertown man was arrested on the warrant for probation violation. Feb.

Feb. 17, 2:07 p.m.: A man grabbed a bottle of alcohol put it in his pants and ran out of Arsenal Wine & Spirits without paying. The man was recognized and police knew he frequently could be found on Irving Street. They found the man, who had a bottle of whiskey worth $40.

Feb. 9, 5:35 a.m.: An officer ran the registration of a car on Mt. Auburn Street and discovered the owner had a suspended license and a warrant. The 42-year-old Brockton man was arrested for driving with a suspended license – a subsequent offense, and a warrant from Chelsea District Court.

Feb. 6, 10:48 p.m.: An officer spotted a vehicle suddenly make a U-turn on North Beacon Street. When the officer pulled the vehicle over he found the driver’s license had been revoked. The 27-year-old Boston man was arrested for driving with a suspended license, a subsequent offense.

Jan. 30, 6:12 p.m.: An officer on patrol spotted a vehicle make a turn out of the wrong lane from Galen Street on Mt. Auburn Street. The drier was pulled over and the officer found the driver did not have a license.
Members of a regional drug task force arrested a man they suspected of being involved in a drug deal, but the charges were not for possession of drugs.
On Jan. 30 at around 4 p.m. members of the Middlesex County Drug Task Force were in Watertown on an investigation. “Officers were on Thayer Road where they observed an exchange between two individuals who were known to the officers,” said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn. When officers approached, a suspect identified as Thomas McDonough ran away. “They observed McDonough reaching into a snow bank,” Lawn said.

Jan. 19, 1:56 p.m.: An officer served a warrant out of Middlesex Superior Court for probation violation, and arrested a 29-year-old Watertown man. Jan. 20, 3:32 a.m.: An officer patrolling on Melendy Avenue spotted a car stopped with its hazard lights on.

Jan. 14, 4:51 p.m.: An officer on Arsenal Street near Spruce Street saw a vehicle run a red light. The officer stopped the car and found the driver had only a Brazilian driver’s license and he had an active warrant. The 28-year-old Waltham man was arrested for unlicensed driving and a warrant from West Roxbury District Court for unlicensed driving.
