In case you missed the Fox 25 Morning News’ visit to Watertown, they had plenty going on at Victory Field Friday morning. Fox 25 made its first Zip Trip of the year to Watertown, and the news crew interviewed a variety of folks from around town. Hometown Heroes were two of the Watertown Police officers, Sgt. John MacLellan and Sgt. Jeff Pugliese, who  involved in the shootout with the Boston Marathon Bombing suspects.

Grab Some Grub from Food Trucks in Watertown

Need a bite to eat, try something new at the Commander’s Mansion, which will host food trucks five days a week beginning April 21. The trucks park on Talcott Avenue near the entrance to Arsenal Park,, and will offer a variety of goodies through the week, said Tammy McKenna, facilities manager at the Commander’s Mansion. “Last season we implemented a Food Truck pilot program once/twice a week and it was well received,” McKenna said. “This season we were given the go-ahead to open it up five days and it starts next Monday the 21st (of April) running through October 3rd.” The trucks are open to everyone.

Watertown’s Commander’s Mansion Hosts Wedding Faire

Brides and grooms-to-be can find caterers, photographers, entertainers and more for their big day at the ninth annual Wedding Faire at the Commander’s Mansion in Watertown. Meet the top wedding professionals from the Boston area and see the latest bridal fashions at the event on March 1 and 2 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sample food and prizes will also be given out during the event. Vendors include caterers, florists, photographers, bakeries, entertainment, transportation and more. Different vendors will be featured each day. Tickets cost $5 and is good for the whole weekend.
