Watertown will be brimming with arts activities on Aug. 8, 2026. The day begins with the annual Watertown Arts Market at Arsenal Park, featuring more than 100 artists, music, performances, kids’ activities and food for sale. Afterward, catch a Latin dance performance and lessons nearby, hosted by the Mosesian Center for the Arts. See details provided by the Watertown Arts Market, below.

On Saturday, Aug. 8th, Watertown will come alive with creativity, music, food, and community during Watertown Arts Day! Featuring the Watertown Arts Market, followed by the final Fiesta Saturday of the summer at The Mosesian Center for the Arts, residents and visitors are invited to experience a full day of family-friendly activities before dancing the night away.

The day begins with the sixth annual Watertown Arts Market from noon-5 p.m. at Arsenal Park, where thousands of attendees gather every year for one of Watertown’s cornerstone events of the summer! Free and open to all, the Arts Market will feature local artists, makers, and cultural organizations — along with performances, children’s activities, and an expanded lineup of performances and local food vendors.

This year’s Arts Market is the largest and most dynamic yet. Guests can shop from over 100 vendors, explore interactive art-making stations, and enjoy a dedicated Kids Zone filled with hands-on crafts and activities. Attendees will find a wide variety of food vendors serving tacos, pizza, cookies, ice cream, coffee, tea, and much more!

New this year, the Arts Market added a second performance stage! The Court Stage will feature five performances every hour on the hour throughout the afternoon, while the Grove Stage will host live music along with poetry, prose, and author readings. Opening performances begin at noon with internationally renowned Venezuelan harpist Eduardo Betancourt on the Grove Stage and The Show Must Go On — a youth performance art and theater program — on the Court Stage!

The Watertown Arts Market is made possible thanks to a talented committee of volunteers, and through the generous support of several community sponsors, led by the Watertown Business Coalition. See the full list of sponsors, here!

When the Arts Market is done, the celebration continues next door at the Mosesian Center for the Arts with the second of two Fiesta Saturdays from 5-9 p.m.!

Fiesta Saturdays celebrate the rhythm, energy, and joy of Latin culture through an evening of live music, dance, food, and community. The series concludes with salsa music by Los Mambiseros and DJ Angel Javier, dance instruction, food trucks, local vendors, cocktails, and an evening of celebration under the summer sky. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy a festive outdoor experience with family and friends!

The event will take place on the green outside the Commander’s Mansion, 440 Talcott Ave., Watertown. Parking is available at the Mansion as well as at the East Garage in the Arsenal on the Charles.

Tickets and information are available here.

We can’t wait for an entire day dedicated to showcasing the incredible local art that helps make our community so vibrant!
