Mr. McDade was a son of the late Dennis McDade, Sr. & Catherine J. (Cooney) McDade. Dennis passed away on Thursday October 28, 2021 at the age of 89. He was born and raised in Watertown and was a proud graduate of St. Patrick High School.

A Funeral Mass for Timothy Alan McManus will be celebrated on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 10:30 a.m., in the Church of Saint Patrick, Watertown. A son of the late Joseph P. McManus and Edna M. (Feeley) McManus, Tim passed away suddenly on June 29, 2021. Tim was a lifelong and proud resident of Watertown. A graduate of UMass Lowell, he worked in the Boston area construction industry for decades, most recently at Timberline Construction of Canton where he was the Executive Vice President. He lived life to the fullest, bringing a passion to everything he did.

Samantha Lee Chase of Watertown, passed away suddenly on March 12, 2021 at the age of 32. Sam was the loving daughter of David A. Chase & Lisa L. (Yankowski) Chase of Watertown. Born in Cambridge, she grew up and was raised in Watertown. Samantha spent 12 years in the Watertown Public School system, graduating from Watertown High School on 2006. After high school she obtained her degreein massage therapy.

A Funeral Mass for Katherine M. (Broderick) McCourt, 102, of Londonderry N.H., formerly of Watertown, will be held on Tuesday, June 11, in the Church of Saint Patrick, 212 Main St., Watertown. 

Mrs. McCourt, the only child of the late John and Catherine (Feeney) Broderick, was born in Everett days after the United States entered World War I. She soon moved to Watertown, where she attended Hosmer Elementary School, East Junior High School, and then Watertown High School, graduating in 1935. As a result of her parents’ hard work and savings, she was able to further her education at Bryant & Stratton Commercial School where she completed the Secretarial Program in 1936. Upon graduation, she took a job at the John McCourt Company, a construction firm started by its namesake in 1893. There she met the founder’s grandson, Frank McCourt, who soon after proposed to her during his active military service. After Pearl Harbor, the two moved up their wedding to Christmas Day 1941 so that he could fight in World War II without losing the love of his life.

Francis U. “Frank” Cousineau of Watertown, died on April 18, 2019 at the age of 90. Retired Watertown teacher and coach. U.S. Army Veteran, Korea. He graduated from WHS in 1947 and was an outstanding athlete. His senior year, Frank was named to the All-Suburban Team and was also a first team All-Scholastic on multiple All-Star squads.

Mrs. Mason passed away on Friday evening, April 12 in the Watertown Health Care Center. Born in 1918, Eva was 11 days shy of her 101st birthday. A lifelong resident of Watertown, she graduated from Watertown High School, Class of 1936. She retired from Perkins School of the Blind, Watertown.
