Oct. 23, 2:21 p.m.: Police responded to a disturbance at 20 Watertown Street and found a man who said he felt like hurting himself. The man was sitting on a couch holding a pair of scissors. Police ordered the man to put down the scissors but the man refused multiple times.
A graveside funeral service for Mr. Rudolph Iodice, a former Watertown Police officer, on Friday, Oct. 30 at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Watertown. Mr. Iodice passed away in the Exeter Hospital, Exeter, N.H., on Wednesday, Sept. 23.

Oct. 5, 6:48 p.m.: An officer ran the registration of a Chevy pickup and found the owner had a revoked license. The driver was pulled over and the 34-year-old Watertown man was arrested for driving with a license that was suspended for an OUI, and driving with a revoked license. Incidents

Sept. 29, 11:23 p.m.: A hit-and-run accident occurred at Union Street near Eliot Street, and when police arrived they spotted a damaged vehicle a little way down the street and the driver inside. He told police he was reading a text when he hit the vehicle. Police performed field sobriety tests.

Sept. 21, 3:25 p.m.: A group of four women who came into Target to return merchandise were recognized from security images from another store in the chain. The Target in Stoughton reported a theft of a number of items, and a woman matching the description of one of the suspects came into the Watertown store and humidifier worth $199.99 and returned it at the customer service desk and exchanged it for a vacuum cleaner. A second woman came to customer service with a child’s toy worth $44.99, and was also seen taking items off the shelf and put them in a shopping carriage and leave without paying.

Sept. 14, 6:16 p.m.: Target stopped a couple who was shoplifting. They were seen taking items off the shelf and put them in the woman’s pocketbook and into a target shopping bag. They stopped the man, but a woman with a baby carriage fled the store and was last seen heading westbound on Arsenal Street.

Sept. 10, 3:46 p.m: Target security stopped a man who put numerous items in a cart and tried to leave without paying. He had $320.80 worth of merchandise. The 27-year-old man from Randolph was arrested on a charge of shoplifting over $100.
