Police arrested a man after he allegedly pulled a gun on two women at the Super 8 Motel and took their money during the wee hours of Sept. 8.

The women received a call from the man after they posted an ad online offering escort services, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn.  The man arrived about 2:37 a.m.

“The suspect pulled a gun on the two females and robbed them at gunpoint of money, IDs and other personal items,” Lawn said.

The man ripped the phone out of the wall at the motel, and took the women’s cell phones, and then he fled the hotel, Lawn said.

After police examined the incident, their investigation led them to arrest a 38-year-old Cambridge man at 3:51 p.m. on Sept. 8.

Dion Darrin Dottin, 38, of 40 Clifton St. in Cambridge, was arrested on two counts of armed robbery with a gun, and one count of intimidating a witness, Lawn said.
