Watertown Resident Megan Dattoli opened her new studio GROUNDWORK yoga + wellness in Belmont.

Watertown resident Megan Dattoli opened a studio feature yoga, prenatal and parenting classes.

GROUNDWORK yoga + wellness at 402 Trapelo Road in Belmont will hold its grand opening celebration through Sunday, Feb. 1.

The studio offers classes and workshops that encourage self care of body and mind, healthy families, and a mindful community. Dattoli grew up in Belmont and is a yoga instructor, birth & postpartum doula, and childbirth educator. She has been supporting new and growing families in the area for the past 4 years.

“I wanted to create a space for personal growth, wellness, community building, fun, and inspiration”, Dattoli said. “The adult yoga and pilates classes are a cornerstone of our offerings. Mind-body fitness and health, and taking time out for self-care is so important. We differentiate ourselves with a family and community focus as well.” 

The studio also feature prenatal and parenting education, support groups for new moms and opportunities for families to spend time together in family yoga, and at a variety of community events.
