Watertown junior forward Katelyn Rourke and the Raiders got the top seed in the Div. 2 North girls’ basketball tournament.

The Watertown girl’s basketball team will look to keep its undefeated season going as the top seed in the MIAA Div. 2 North section tournament. The boys made the tourney too!

The Raiders finished 18-0 and got the top seed. They got a bye for the first round and will host the winner of the Marblehead-Tewksbury game in a quarterfinal on Thursday at 7 p.m., according to the Boston Herald.

With the Raiders moving up a division, they are in the same bracket with Belmont! The rivals could meet in the section semis where Watertown faces the winner of game between fourth-seed Bedford and either No. 5 Belmont or No. 12 Danvers.

The boys got the sixth seed in the Div. 3 North tournament after finishing the regular season 11-8. Watertown hosts 11th seed Bedford in the first round, according to the Boston Herald. The game will be on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Watertown High School.

If they win, the Raiders will play third seed Arlington Catholic in the quarterfinal on Saturday.
