Police Log: Woman Arrested After Hitting Two Cars, Snowblower Stolen

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department.

Arrests

March 12, 12:27 p.m.: Police were called to Main Street near the Central Fire Station and found the suspect near the Watertown Free Public Library. The 65-year-old Boston man had a warrant for his arrest out of Boston District Court for shoplifting.

March 13, 2:59 p.m.: A man was found on the ground in a parking lot on Main Street. Police found the man lying next to a snow pile. The 40-year-old Quincy man had a warrant for his arrest from Boston District Court for shoplifting.

March 14, 12:21 a.m.: A Toyota struck two parked vehicles on Arlington Street near Calvin Road. Police detected an odor of alcohol on the driver’s breath and performed field sobriety tests. The 29-year-old woman from Dorchester was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Incidents

March 11, 12:50 p.m.: A man came to the Police Station to report his car has been keyed when he parked his car on Bates Road while attending a birthday party.

March 13, 11:43 a.m.: A Honda snow blower worth $700 was taken from a garage on George Street. It was last seen at 1 p.m. on March 12.

March 15, 10:34 a.m.: A driver parked on Union Street and came out and found that the windshield. It appeared to have been struck by a blunt object and was cracked.
