The 12U Watertown Summer Panthers celebrated a recent victory over Waltham.
Chloe Fandetti and Gracie Denneen combined to pitch six innings while Bella Johnson stopped just about everything thrown her way as the catcher.
The Panthers had some hot bats at the plate too, said coach Del Furbish. Alyssa Carroll and Chloe had 2 doubles each scoring all the runners on board.
The play of the game happened when Waltham had bases loaded with one out in the third inning, Furbish said. Pitcher Chloe collected a line drive out and doubled up by throwing to Gracie at first for the inning ending double play.
Watertown went on to win 10-8.
