Lowell School will hold a pair of playdates for incoming Kindergartners to get to know each other before school begins on Sept. 8.
The first will be held on Thursday, Aug. 20 at 5 p.m. at the sprinkler park at Filippello Park, off Arlington Street. If it rains, the event will be cancelled.
The second will be at the Lowell playground and garden on Wednesday, Aug. 26 at 5 p.m. Judy Fallows, Garden Coordinator for the Watertown public schools will be introducing the kids and their parents to the school garden and picking some snacks for them to enjoy right from the plants. Rain will cancel the event.
