A new business specializing in skin treatments opened in Watertown, near the Newton Corner.

Skin MD recently held its grand opening. The location at 100 Galen Street, Ste. 302, is one of four locations in Massachusetts.

Buono Pest Control

After a long and successful career, Ben Buono, founder of Buono Pest Control has retired after 37 years at the helm. After a tour in Vietnam, he was employed by Waltham Services for 7 years.  In 1978 he started Buono Pest Control.  During that time he initiated the New England Pest Management Association NEPMA Golf Tournament which supports the Mark Weintraub Scholarship and also helped to develop the IPM Registry. An active NEPMA member, he served as president and also received the prestigious Bartlett Eldridge Award.

“I am confident that my daughter, Marillian and brother, Steve will grow the company by honoring my past work coupled by their experience and education that has been instilled in them and their steadfast desire to exceed my expectations,” Buono stated.

Marillian Missiti will serve as president and Steven Buono as the chief operating officer. Together they have over 50 years’ experience in the pest control industry.

Marillian is Past-President of NEPMA, and current Chair of the Professional Women in Pest Management Committee for the National Pest Management Association and a Board of Director member for the Watertown-Belmont Chamber of Commerce.

Steve’s experience in the field of construction has extended the company’s reach into exclusion and repair. His engaging personality, strong ethics and a desire to assure quality service has been a perfect fit to communicate to clients as well as educating and training employees.
