Victory Field Will be Open to the Public Over the Long Weekend

Watertown residents can get on the Victory Field Turf, and use other parts of the facility this weekend.

The Recreation Department announced that the Victory turf field will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the Thanksgiving weekend from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

In addition, the lights at the Casey Park courts will be on until 8 p.m., weather permitting. You can play hockey, basketball and tennis.

The Recreation Department also asks residents to fill out a customer satisfaction survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/watrecbasic. That will help the Rec Department offer better programing and facility options for residents.

A variety of Recreation programs and park improvement projects will be discussed at the Recreation Open Forum on Tuesday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. in the Lower Hearing Room in Town Hall. See the agenda here.
