Watertown Savings Bank announced the winners of the Customer Choice Awards, and who will receive a share of the $85,000.
Watertown Savings released the following announcement:
Voting in this year’s Customer Choice Awards reached a record high! We had just over 7,000 customers vote. Over 300 different organizations had votes, but only the non-profits that received at least 70 votes made the list of this year’s winners. The awards night is scheduled for April 5. We are especially excited about this year’s event as it is the 2oth anniversary of the awards. The funds distributed this year will bring the total dollars donated to local non-profits according to our customer’s votes to $1 million!
When the program started in 1996 the total we gave away that year was $10,000. This year, the total distributed will be $85,000, with the top vote-getter receiving $10,000. We will announce the grand prize winner at the awards night. Congratulations to the winners.
