Many older adults experience concerns about falling and restrict their activities. Mount Auburn Hospital recognizes this concern and has developed its award-winning program to help patients prevent and manage their falls, while staying or becoming more active.
This summer, the hospital is pleased to present the A Matter of Balance workshop, an eight-week group focused on learning to view falls as controllable. Participants will set goals for increasing activity, make changes to reduce fall risks at home, and learn exercises to increase strength and balance.
WHEN: Every Monday for 8 weeks from 9:30-11:30 a.m. starting on June 6, 2016.
