The Watertown Senior Center has plenty going on this month, here are some of the highlights.
Senior Center Birthday Party When: Friday, June 10 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Where: Watertown Senior Center, 31 Marshall St. We’ll have music, line dancing, door prizes, a raffle, the Mellowtones, and full delicious luncheon including ice cream and Birthday Cake! So come join us and bring along a friend! Tickets are on sale now at the Senior Center and the cost: $14.
SENIOR CENTER FUNDRAISER! Looking for somewhere to go for dinner? Not Your Average Joe’s will be hosting a fundraiser to benefit the Watertown Senior Center. To help out just go any Tuesday in June – 7, 14, 21, or 28 between 11:30 a.m.-10 p.m. and bring in your coupon or a picture of the flyer.
Senior Center Art Class Annual Exhibition & Reception The Senior Center Art class works hard all year (and has fun too!) Every June we have a chance to admire their best works of the year in a week long exhibit that is open to the public. Be sure to come by and meet the artists and their talented teacher Dawn Scaltreto at the artists’ reception: WHEN: 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 8 WHERE: Watertown Senior Center, 31 Marshall St.Can’t make it that week? The exhibition will be on display at the Watertown Free Public Library during the entire month of July.
PLANTER FOR YOUR HOME Planters are fun to make and last a long time. Come join us at the Senior Center where you’ll learn how to put together one of your very own. All the materials you need to create a planter with mixed plants and flowers for you table or windowsill are provided – just bring your imagination.
