The TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank, announced the recent donation a total of $15,000 to Watertown Boys & Girls Club as part of the foundation’s commitment to giving back to the community.
Watertown Boys & Girls Club has been a leading youth development organization in our community since 1972. The Club serves children ages 7-18 through programming aimed at producing positive outcomes in the areas of Academic Success, Healthy Living, and Character Development. The funds from the TD Charitable Foundation will be used to support the Club’s Financial Literacy project, a new and innovative program that will help youth members learn how to save, budget, and invest their money.

As a result of this grant, our young people will be exposed to and learn about basic money management; including budgeting, saving, and investments. Our youth will benefit from this opportunity and so will our community.
