‘Make Way for Duckling’ Event at Watertown Mall During February Break

The Museum of Fine Arts presents “Make Way For Ducklings Crafts” at the Watertown Mall on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 1-4 p.m.!

Join instructors from the Artful Adventures program at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston in exploring, creating, and learning about some of the fascinating pieces of art from around the world. Take a closer look at pictures of art featuring baby animals from the Museum’s collections then use a variety of materials to create your own baby animal puppet to take home!

The Museum of Fine Arts has a Ducklings exhibit going on now until June. All ages are welcome. This event is FREE and will take place near Carter’s.

Mad Science of North Boston presents “Make Your Own Periscope” on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 1-3p.m.! Join instructors for a step by step demonstration on how to make your own Periscope! Peak around corners and over walls with your own spy periscope that you can take home. Children are invited to come build and explore while learning the science behind light and mirrors. All ages are welcome. This event is FREE and will take place near Carter’s.
