The Mosesian Center for the Arts announced Forever Young: Picture Book Art Exhibition Artist Meet & Greet Series.
Today’s picture book artists are some of the world’s most innovative visual artists – pushing boundaries with their use of both traditional and digital techniques. This juried exhibition, on view now through September 15, 2017, celebrates a broad array of styles and mediums that will captivate audiences of all ages. The public is invited to a series of Artists Meet & Greets that kick off August 3rd with readings, Artist Q&A, Gallery Tours, and more!
“Picture books are a child’s introduction to a lifelong love of art” says Director of Exhibitions Kimberly Thompson Panay. “We’re pleased to showcase works from more than 25 artists, from up-and-comers to well-known artists including Calef Brown, Jannie Ho, Leslie Patricelli, and more.”
The Exhibition juried in part by Nick Patton from the Picture Booking Podcast and Mela Bolinao of MB Artists also includes a Pop-up Picture Book Shop featuring books and prints of artwork on view that can be signed by participating Meet & Greet Artists.
