Watertown will honor Veteran’s Day with two events this week – a concert and a breakfast.
On Wednesday, Nov. 8, Watertown will host a free Veteran’s Day Concert, featuring the World Famous Hal McIntyre Orchestra (see the video below). The concert will be a tribute to Peggy Lee and features Broadway’s own Jody Ebling. The orchestra is conducted by Watertown’s own Don Pentleton.
The concert will be at Watertown Middle School, 68 Waverly Ave., Watertown, from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Doors will open at 7 p.m.
Watertown’s Veteran’s Day Breakfast will be held on Saturday, Nov. 11, and it is free and open to the public. The breakfast begins at 9:30 a.m. and the ceremony will begin at 11 a.m.
The event will be held at the Charles Shutt Detatchment of the Marine Corps League, 215 Mt. Auburn St.
