The Watertown Mall, located at 550 Arsenal Street, Watertown, will be hosting the Cub Scouts’ 2018 Pinewood Derby on Saturday, April 7, 2018 starting at 8:30 a.m. and continuing into the afternoon until about 4:30 p.m., according to an announcement from the mall.
Join us on Saturday, April 7 for a day filled with fun and racing. Come watch ingenious, young Cub Scouts race miniature wooden cars made from just a handful of materials. From shaping and designing the bodies to installing wheels and adding weights, these creative minds put endless amounts of hard work into perfecting their cars – and they did it by themselves. So be sure to swing by to support our up and coming innovators and find out who will be awarded Fastest and/or Most Original. This event is sponsored by the Sons of Liberty District of the Spirit of Adventure Council. They proudly serve Cub Scouts from Waltham, Belmont, Watertown, Cambridge, Somerville, Arlington, Medford, Malden, Everett,
Chelsea, Revere, and Melrose.
