The Watertown Free Public Library’s Winter Concert Series presents Women in World Jazz on Feb. 3.
On the first Sunday of each month the Library hosts free concerts featrugin talented local artists. Performances open to all.
The next concert is on Sunday, Feb. 3 at 2 p.m. in the Watertown Savings Bank Room.
Women in World Jazz features female composers from around the world with extensive experience in performance and education. Their educational program features musical styles from Cuba’s cha cha to Cape Verde’s Coladeira as well as songs from Israel, Brazil and Japan, mixed with jazz favorites. All performances in the Winter Concert Series are free and open to all.
