Join the Watertown Mall & 19 Cub Scout Packs for fun and racing for the annual Cub Scout Pinewood Derby.
Cub Scouts, in grades K–5, have crafted miniature wooden cars from a handful of materials. From shaping and designing the bodies of the car to installing wheels and adding weights, these creative minds put endless amounts of hard work into perfecting their cars – and they did it by themselves.
The event is sponsored by The Sons of Liberty District of the Spirit of Adventure Council. Cub Scouts in this district come from Waltham, Belmont, Watertown, Cambridge, Somerville, Arlington, Medford, Malden, Everett, Chelsea, Revere, & Melrose.
See who gets awarded the Fastest Car & Most Original Car and be a part of the fun on Saturday, April 27 from 10:00 am until 3:30 pm. This event is free to the general public. Come to the Watertown Mall to support these up & coming innovators. We hope to see you then!
