The Watertown Boys & Girls Club has started a fund raising effort to make sure that all youth in the community will be able to attend summer camp.
The Boys & Girls Club sent out the following information:

Many of the youth who attend Watertown Boys & Girls Club for after-school programs, swim lessons, league sports teams, school vacation programs and summer camp, depends on the financial aid provided by the Club to be able to participate in these important youth experiences.
In order to ensure equal opportunities for all of our youth regardless of a family’s financial position,Watertown Boys & Girls Club has supported families over the past year with $22,000 of financial aid.
This year, our goal is to raise $25,000 for financial aid so we can continue to offer great experiences, like summer camp, for campers who would otherwise not have this opportunity.
So far, we have raised $12,500!! Please be a part of something special and help us REACH OUR GOAL!

This is awesome! The watertown community needs more opportunities like this for those kids living in single income homes not able to afford the $200-$300 a week of camp.
