A Funeral service for Charles Paul Casello will be held in the Grace Chapel, 525 Main St. Watertown on Wednesday June 5, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.

Charlie was the loving son of the late Carmello Casello and Concetta (Galvagno) Casello. He passed away Thursday evening in Cambridge after a period of declining health. Charlie was 98.

Charlie was born and raised in Lexington. He graduated from Lexington High School and after high school he enlisted in the United States Navy where he was an Aviation Boatswain’s Mate 1st Class in World War II. Later in life when Charlie moved to Watertown, he became an active member in the former Community Church on Main Street.

He was the beloved husband of the late Grace Louise (Thurston) Casello. Devoted father of Laura G. LaPan & her husband Lawrence of Marlboro, Janet Casello Johnson & her husband Carl of Pullman Washington, and Charlene P. Sugrue & her husband Edward of Watertown. Dear brother of nine late brothers & sisters. Loving grandfather of Michelle Sandstorm & her husband Dana, Kim Barnes & her husband Christopher, Stefanie Sugrue, Mats Johnson, CJ Johnson and Aimee Sugrue. Loving great-grandfather of Jonathan & Matthew Barnes.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Grace Chapel, 525 Main St. Watertown on Wednesday June 5, 2019 at 10 a.m. Relatives & friends kindly invited.

Visiting hours Tuesday 4-7 p.m. in the MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home 270 Main St. Watertown.

Interment Ridgelawn Cemetery.
