The Watertown Fire Department invites public to attend its Open House on Saturday, Oct. 12 at Fire Headquarters.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fire Station 1, at 99 Main St. in Watertown Square.
Visitors can join tours of the Fire Station, touch a fire truck, and meet Sparky the Fire Dog.
Firefighters will also put on a demonstration of an automobile extrication using the “jaws of life.” The WFD drone will also take flight during the event and residents can learn how to make their homes safer.
Coffee will be provided by Dunkin’ and Domino’s will serve pizza.
