Room 83 Spring is open again and pleased to present Close to Home: new paintings on panel by Donna Calleja on view through October 31.
Beloved Watertown High Art Teacher Donna Calleja recently retired to dedicate more time to painting. Her work has been in recent exhibits at Belmont Gallery of Art, ConcordArt, Montserrat College ofArt, South Shore Art Center and is included in many public and private collections including the Boston Public Library, Worcester Art Museum, Fidelity Investments and Cambridge Savings Bank. Compressed arrangements of domestic objects expertly balance color, shadow and light in this series of small luminous still lifes.
