Belmont-based boutique The Blue Butterfly will be opening a temporary location in Watertown leading up to Christmas.
Arsenal Yards sent out the following information about the pop up shop:
Based in Belmont, The Blue Butterfly is coming to Watertown for one week only, and will be setting up shop in the space next to Ben & Jerry’s at Arsenal Yards from 12noon to 7pm on Friday, December 18th through the 23rd. The Pop Up Shop will be selling holiday ornaments, art (painting and photography), books, jewelry, small gifts, retro housewares (glasses, bowls), greeting cards, illuminated objects, retro lamps and other holiday house décor. The Blue Butterfly’s goal is to offer cool, quality things with character, and visitors to Arsenal Yards are sure to find a special one-of-a-kind gift at the Pop Up!
In addition, Arsenal Yards will also be offering a chance to win one of The Blue Butterfly’s most popular items, the Illuminated Microphone. This handmade piece is created by artist Dr. Kent White, who is known for his distinctive form of Illuminology. Every guest that visits The Blue Butterfly pop-up will be able to scan the QR code to enter to win this illuminated object (a $118 value). One winner will be selected on December 23rd.
Before or after they shop, visitors are invited to swing by some of Arsenal Yards’ restaurants for a bite or drink, including City Works, Pepe’s, Garbanzo, Shake Shack or Chipotle – and grab a sweet treat from Ben & Jerry’s to officially kick off the holiday!
