The Watertown Community Foundation (WCF) announces two Spring 2021 grant programs to support local nonprofits, community-based organizations, programs, and projects. Approximately $125,000 will be distributed, nearly double 2020’s distribution.

WCF’s Program Grants will support organizations that serve Watertown to develop new or continue existing programs with an educational focus (broadly defined) and do not involve Watertown’s public schools. Eligible organizations may apply for grants of $500 up to $5,000. WCF’s Institutional Support Grants are designed to help institutions central to the Watertown community by providing funds to maintain critical programming, staff, and cover operating costs. Grants under this program impose neither restrictions on the use of funds nor any program requirements. Eligible organizations may apply for grants of up to $7,500.

The application deadline for both grant programs is April 23, 2021. We encourage all interested organizations to attend an information session at 6:30 or April 9th at 12PM. https://bit.ly/3rm2Ekf

Information and online application forms for both grant programs are available on WCF’s website: www.watertownfoundation.org.  Questions: jan.singer@watertownfoundation.org

  1. Question: please clarify “information session at 6:30 or April 9th at 12PM” are both info sessions on 4/9? ir is there a different date for 6:30? and I’d assume that’s pm?

    • Thanks for the question. I got this info from the Community Foundation:

There will be two sessions-April 7 at 6:30 PM and April 9 at noon via zoom.
Each session will include info for both program and institutional grants.
