Intro to 3D Scanning with Jordan
Monday, July 26, 6 pm
This workshop is virtual
Have you ever wanted to digitize reality and share it online, build virtual reality worlds with clay and a camera, map out the interior of your house for a construction project or capture the essence of a loved one to keep forever? 3D scanning with photogrammetry opens all of these doors and more. In this workshop, you will learn how to create detailed 3d scans with nothing but your phone or camera and you will get the opportunity to learn about real world applications and fun projects using this exciting technology. Over the course of an hour you will learn how it works, what (free!) software is required, and best practices. It’s the perfect excuse to get out and explore!

Curbside Pickup is Changing

Laser cutter and vinyl cutter curbside pickup will cease and 3D printing will continue through curbside pickup.

There’s a new way to learn how to use the Hatch laser cutter
Appointments available Tuesday – Thursday

Schedule an appointment for yourself or a small group to “Learn the Laser Cutter.” This is the required training to use the Hatch laser cutter and the first step to becoming an independent user of the machine. Participants must be 16 or older. Book your appointment through the library website or by calling Hatch at (781) 795-2309.
