Masks are required when riding the Senior Shuttle Bus or visiting the Food Pantry.

Please check to make sure that your Senior Parking Permit is still up-to-date, and call the Senior Center at (617) 972-6490 to renew by phone or stop in to purchase a new one. Bring your ID, Car Registration and Fee. You must be at least 65 years old and live in Watertown with the automobile registered in your name. The cost is $3 for a 2-year permit. Parking is limited to two hours at the metered CVS and Library lots in Watertown Square and the metered CVS lot in Coolidge Square. Not valid for metered street parking.
Senior Shuttle Bus
The Watertown Senior Shuttle Bus is back on the road for grocery shopping. Masks are required on the bus. Rides are door-to-door and are now scheduled by appointment only. Trips to Stop and Shop/CVS/Watertown Savings Bank, Market Basket, Marshalls, Roche Brothers, Target and Hannaford are on the schedule.
New Transportation Provider
Springwell, our local Area Agency on Aging, recently received a large grant to help seniors in Watertown and surrounding communities get where they need to go! The service is free of charge for seniors, age 60 and older, and the service will provide rides locally and to Boston and beyond for errands, medical appointments, and social engagements. Rides are scheduled by calling Alternative Transportation directly at (857) 364-6570. They will register each person who seeks the service, and arrange both pickup and return.
