Summer is the perfect season to learn something new or get lost in a great story. This year, WFPL has summer reading programs, prizes, and more for children, teens, and adults! Get started at watertownlib.org/summer.

Coming up in July, practice Yoga for Stress Relief, join ¡Noche deDominó en la Biblioteca! (in English and Spanish), or sew a Bluebird of Happiness.

CHILDREN

Children’s Summer Reading is Here! 

We were just BLOWN AWAY by how many summer readers came to the Library on June 27 to get their books signed by Tui T. Sutherland! We still have free books and plenty of summer reading calendars in the Children’s Room. Our Children’s Summer Program includes reading challenges, free craft kits, and live music every Saturday. Baby Story Time

Tuesdays & Thursdays | 11 AM | For babies who are not walking yet.

Patio Story Time

Wednesdays | 11 AM | Library Patio | Story Time will be canceled when there is precipitation. Check watertownlib.org/events for up-to-date info. All ages.

Jueves 7/7 | 18hs a 20hs | Aprende a jugar al dominó o simplemente acércate si quieres disfrutar de un ambiente entretenido y no competitivo. Domino Night at the Library!

Thursday, 7/7 | 6 – 8 PM | Venezuelan-born María Mayobre used to play dominoes every week in Caracas and will teach newcomers in Spanish and English. Ages 8+ and all levels welcome! Registration required.

Yoga for Stress Relief

4 Thursdays, 7/7 – 7/28 | 11 AM | Take some time out of your busy life for this nourishing yoga practice. Modifications are offered for all levels and beginners are welcome. Join us for all four sessions! Registration required.

Wednesday, 8/10 | 7 PM | via Zoom | Read and discuss LGBTQ+ books across fiction and non-fiction genres and make new friends! For August, we’re reading The Death of Vivek Oji by Akwaeke Emezi.
