The following announcement was provided by Watertown Youth Hockey:

Watertown Youth Hockey invites the community to come out and support our annual Skate-a-Thon fundraiser. Our players will skate 50 laps in 50 minutes! The event will take place on Tuesday, February 14th at the John A. Ryan Arena.

Our youngest skaters in the Learn to Play program and Mites will skate at 6:30 p.m. and the Squirts, Peewees and the Middle School Team at 7:30 p.m.

This year our hockey moms will take the ice for a lap in honor of Jami Curley, beloved hockey mom and cherished member of the Watertown community, who passed away in January. Please join us in remembering and honoring Jami at 7:30 p.m.

Come cheer on our skaters or make a donation online at watertownyh.com, click the red donate button on right hand side. Refreshments and 50/50 raffle are also available for purchase!

Watertown Youth Hockey is dedicated to providing a high quality, positive, hockey experience for our local youth, while establishing value-based life lessons including sportsmanship, teamwork, and dedication. In order to keep participation in this great sport accessible to kids in our community, we count on the generosity of family and friends to support our fundraising efforts.

All donations to the program go directly toward defraying participation costs.
