Watertown’s Teagan O’Sullivan will make her second appearance on Jeopardy! this week.
In 2019, O’Sullivan competed in the Teen Tournament, where she was a semifinalist after winning in the quarterfinal round. That year she won $10,000. At the time she was a student at Ardrey Kell High School in Charlotte, North Carolina.
She first got interested in the television trivia game show when she was eight years old and would often win trivia contests on a team with her cousins during the summers on Cape Cod, according to a story at the time in Ballantyne Magazine.
On Thursday, Feb. 23, O’Sullivan, who is now in her first year at American University, will compete on the Jeopardy! High School Reunion tournament. She will compete in one of nine quarterfinals, which began Monday and will end on March 2. Then there will be three semifinals games, and a the three winners will compete in the final.
Jeopardy airs locally at 7:30 p.m. on WBZ Channel 4.
