The Watertown Department announced that registration has opened for the Wachusett Mountain ski and snowboard program. A bus runs from Watertown to the ski area on Saturdays in early 2024.

Who: Grades 6 – 12
When: Saturday Evenings
January 6th – February 10, 2024 (Once a week for six weeks)
Time: 4:00 – 11:00 pm
Where: Bus leaves at 4:00 pm, SHARP, from the temporary Watertown High School parking lot, 27 Westminster Ave.
Fees: Register online with Wachusett Mountain at their website www.wachusett.com/schoolgroups for lift ticket, equipment, and lessons. Registration starts on 10/26/23 and ends on 12/15/23.

Description
This program is designed to provide middle and high school students with a fun and safe atmosphere to learn the basics of skiing or snowboarding or to improve their skills. All participants must wear helmets while skiing or snowboarding. Space is limited on the bus provided by the Recreation Department. Please register early.
