The Watertown High School boys hockey will seek another run deep into the tournament in the 2023-24 season, and the Raiders’ first game will be Wednesday, Dec. 13. Meanwhile, Watertown has joined forces on the ice with Belmont to put together a co-op girls hockey team.
Watertown’s boys squad will face off against Lexington at the John Ryan Arena in Watertown on Wednesday at 7:45 p.m. The Raiders come off two straight seasons where they were contending for the State title. Last year, Watertown made it to the State Semifinal, losing to Scituate. Two years ago the Raiders’ season ended with an overtime loss to Sandwich in the State Final.
This year, the Watertown’s girls hockey plays will be skating with Belmont. Most of the home games will be played at John Ryan Arena in Watertown, except for a game at Bentley University and one at Warrior Ice Arena in Brighton. Last year, Watertown played with Lexington.
