On Friday, March 8, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, March 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., book lovers can buy gently used books at bargain prices ($2 for paperbacks, $5 for most hardcovers) during the annual Gently Used Books sale. The event will be held in the Mansion at Gore Place in Waltham.
You can donate books too! We can accept donated books from March 1 through March 7. No books will be accepted after March 7. To arrange a drop-off time, please email events@goreplace.org.
Gore Place is a 50-acre country estate in the city, a grand mansion steeped in history, a working farm, and an invaluable community resource in Waltham and Watertown, Massachusetts. The historic estate is owned and operated by Gore Place Society, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and restoring the estate as a cultural resource for the community.
