  1. The police report has not included an incident on Thursday January 16th at the intersection of Arsenal Park Dr at about 10:30 am at the Health Center parking entrance where there were 4 police vehicles. What happened?

    • I, too, have seen reports of police activity which are not reported in this log. Crimemapping.com lists them, with Incident No. For example, on the 25th (covered in the above log), there was a report of “A&B ON +60/DISABLED”, on Coolidge Av, Incident No. 25-1946-OF. I’d like to know more about that. But when I asked a friend with friends on the force about a previously reported violent crime that wasn’t reported anywhere, the reply he got was that it wasn’t quite as written, the parties knew each other, etc. And as Charlie notes, there may be extenuating circumstances. But I still wonder…

  2. Charlie, I have a feeling that there are many more crimes committed that you don’t post due to space or time restrictions. Is there a way people in our community can get access to other reports so they know how many problems we may be having here?

Also, I heard that the alleged ‘Johns’ involved in the scandal regarding high-end hookers at one of the Arsenal buildings some time ago will be facing hearings soon. Do you have any information on this? Supposedly they will reveal the names of the alleged offenders.

Thank you for keeping us informed.

    • Crimes could be a wide range of things. I report the arrests and the major incidents. I include all the incidents that I go over with police. The only ones that they don’t release are domestic, involving juveniles, or mental health. They also won’t give info on something under investigation if it may jeopardize the investigation if information is made public.

    • I agree with you Joan! WPD hasn’t updated their website with police activity logs and arrest in several months, hopefully they will get back to doing that quickly. I also look forward to hearing more about the call girls at Arsenal Yards (there may be one more court date before any info is released)?

  3. What a favor WPD did the community in apprehending Mr. Isaiah Louissaint when they did. And Mr. Louissaint himself. He was a football star at Waltham High, and was playing college ball at U of New Haven. To find himself passed out behind the wheel of a car, without a license, but with a stolen weapon, also unlicensed, and an open container of alcohol, at age 19, is a mess of trouble he can only thank God didn’t kill or injure him or anyone else. His athletic skills were his first chance; WPD graced him with a second. Young Isaiah doesn’t need to be a prophet to know there probably won’t be a third.
