  1. Boosting this article regarding political signs and this link from OCFP,
https://www.ocpf.us/PublicSearch/ViewDocument?id=3237. As the option was made public via the newspaper, it was accessible to all candidates to exercise. Again why is this situation different from the Farmer’s Market and other events? Was it the who that exercised it? Was it sour grapes of a supporter whose candidate did not? Complete facts need to be included before anyone gets on that high horse of civic duty, otherwise it is manipulation. I am more than disappointed in the lack of thorough reserch and due dilegence, from the October 31, 2025 letter regarding campaign signs. It serves no one and nothing.

  2. Hi Rita,

If you look more closely at the call for sponsors, you’ll see that the spots for sponsorships was limited to three: a towering skeleton, a giant ogre, and an oversized gargoyle. How is that equal access for all candidates? I believe on my ballot there were 16 candidates.

In addition, nothing in that post should negate the direction of our election officials, who have prohibited campaign signs on municipal property.
