A Watertown son and father drew a big crowd to watch them shave their heads for a good cause, and raised several thousand dollars.

Watertown High School grad Brady Gleason hosted the Buzz Off on April 17. The event raised money for One Mission Helping Kids Fight Cancer.

Brady’s father, Shane, said that this had been a long time cause for his son.

“This is his seventh year,” said Shane, who is a Watertown Firefighter.

The event took place at Hibernian Hall, and attendees were entertained by comedian Will Noonan and music by Dean Corsi, a Watertown Firefighter. The Buzz Off also included raffles. Brady also had a fundraising page online.

“He raised a little over $10,000,” Shane said. “That’s including what’s on his Donation Page.”

It’s not too late to donate. Find out more by going to https://www.mybuzzoff.org/page/bradygleasonbuzzoff
