FIESTA SATURDAYS — FLAMENCO BOSTON
Saturday, July 11 at 5 p.m.
Mosesian Center for the Arts, 321 Arsenal St.
Fiesta Saturdays are a vibrant outdoor Latin music, dance, food, and arts series, celebrating culture, community, and summer nights in Watertown. These events transform the Mosesian lawn into a lively outdoor gathering place where music, dancing, food, and culture bring neighbors together.
Founded in 2007 by Lauren O’Donnell, Flamenco Boston shares the art of flamenco throughout New England in performances, educational programs, workshops, and community events. Each performance brings together a unique combination of musicians, singers, and dancers, reflecting the collaborative and improvisational spirit at the heart of flamenco.

PRINTING WITH THE SUN
Sunday, July 12, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Mount Auburn Cemetery, 580 Mt. Auburn St., Cambridge (Entrance)
Join author and former Artist-in-Residence Madge Evers (2022-2023) to celebrate the release of “Printing With the Sun: Capturing the Beauty of Nature With Cyanotypes.” Madge will talk about her book, share her own history with the cyanotype process, and introduce its 19th-century origins. She will then conduct a live demonstration of how the process works. Finally, Madge will also provide an opportunity for attendees to enjoy a simple hands-on activity, creating a cyanotype bookmark to take home. Cyanotypes are one of the oldest photographic printing processes in the history of photography. The distinctive feature of the print is its shade of cyan blue, which results from its exposure to ultraviolet light.
