If you need a break from the World Cup (or do not follow soccer), Watertown has plenty of events to choose from this weekend. All weekend, Watertown Children’s Theatre will present Cinderella. Fans of comedy can join the watch party for the finale of Taskmaster UK. This weekend looks hot, but the Watertown Running Club has a pair of runs before the mercury rises. On Sunday, the Watertown Library hosts children’s author Melissa Stewart. Looking for some libations, head to Donohue’s in Sunday for National Bourbon Day.

The Broadway adaptation of the classic musical features new characters, a hilarious libretto, surprising twists, and an unforgettable score from Rodgers & Hammerstein. This production features performers in Grades 3-9 with Jr. Players in Grades K-2.
Jr. Players Section A will perform Friday night and Saturday afternoon. Jr. Players Section B will perform Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.
