The Town of Watertown presents A Musical Tribute to Veterans through the Decade. A free event featuring the World famous Hal McIntyre Orchestra featuring Watertown’s own Don Pentleton Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018 at Watertown Middle School, 68 Waverley Ave., Watertown, from 7–9:30 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Watertown Children’s Theatre Hosting 35th Anniversary Celebration

The Watertown Children’s Theatre will celebrate its 35th anniversary with an event dubbed “There’s No Place Like Home.” The following information came fro the Watertown Children’s Theatre:

The Watertown Children’s Theatre at the Mosesian Center for the Arts celebrates 35 years as a cultural and educational resource for the community by providing opportunities for all children to appreciate, participate, and grow in the performing arts. WCT’s 35th Anniversary Celebration will be on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018 at the The Mosesian Center for the Arts, 321 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472. Doors/Reception begins at 5 p.m., Program begins at 7 p.m.

its 27th Annual Scarecrow Contest from now until Halloween. Shoppers are invited to vote for their favorite scarecrow entry that will be on display for the duration of the contest! Hollywood Actor Makes Guest Appearance on Watertown Cable’s Drawing With Fred

The following was provided by the producers of Watertown Cable’s Drawing With Fred:

Actor Chad Michael Collins has portrayed a variety of characters in his career. They range from a heroic solider to the Frankenstein monster. He steps into the role of safety advocate on the award winning series Drawing With Fred. In a water safety segment titled, Sign Up for Safety, Collins notes the importance of reading signage posted at the beach. He also became a comic book character who wins the admiration of Olive Oyl in a parody of a Popeye cartoon.

Watertown Mall Hosting a Celebration of Mickey Mouse’s 90th Birthday

The Watertown Mall, located at 550 Arsenal Street, Watertown, with Watertown Families Together will be hosting a Birthday Celebration for children and their caregivers in honor of Mickey Mouse on Nov. 15, 2018 at 10 a.m.

The event will be held in the back hallway, next to the Target, across from Carter’s. The event will include crafting projects, singing songs, reading and listing to stories. A Mickey plush doll will be present for hugs and photos. This event is free and open for all ages.
