Dunkin’ Donuts Manager Who Brings Smile to People’s Faces Profiled by Boston News Station

The energetic manager of a Dunkin’ Donuts in Watertown was featured on WBZ Channel 4’s Change Maker segment recently. WBZ-TV’s Lisa Hughes spoke to Julianna Tosta, and some of her many fans who frequent the Dunkin’ on Main Street. The four minute-plus piece includes some familiar faces, including Watertown High School Principal Joel Giacobozzi. Tosta shared some stories about her life, which has had some ups and downs, and how the owners of the Dunkin’ discovered her infections spirit.

The presentation will look at how the Ukraine war could have been avoided, how Ukraine’s independence could have been protected, and how this war might be brought to an end. Paul will address how the dominant narrative about the war in the west has led to the ongoing destruction of Ukraine and made the world a much more dangerous place. Paul Shannon worked for the American Friends Service Committee for 40 years and is now on the Executive Committee of Mass.

LETTER: First Path Day Care Center Moved Into New Location on Boyd Street

First Path Day Care Center relocated to its new home at renovated historical University Prints Building on Boyd Street in Watertown that is 0.5 mile away from its old location. For over a quarter of a century First Path Day Care Center has been providing affordable high quality child care services to the Watertown’s community. We are happy that First Path that was founded in Watertown in 1998 is staying in Watertown and will continue to serve the Watertown’s families. We are grateful to everyone in the community who supported First Path, our families and our teachers during the trying transition period. First Path’s last day of operation at the old location at 25 Whites Avenue was on Nov.

Watertown Brownie Troop 84267 announced it will be hosting a drive-thru food drive to help out a local food pantry. See more information below. Our local Brownie Troop is hosting a Drive-Thru Food Drive to benefit the Watertown Food Pantry on Saturday, November 16, from 1-3 PM at First Parish Church in Watertown, 35 Church St. This event is an opportunity for people in the community to give back easily and safely. Donors can drive up and drop off non-perishable food items without even getting out of their car.

Critical Drought Declared for Area, Tips for Conserving Water

With a Critical Drought declared for much of Massachusetts, including Watertown, the City of Watertown sent out the following tips for residents. See information below. The Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA) has declared a Level 3 – Critical Drought in the Central and Northeast Regions which includes Watertown. Due to unprecedented low rainfall over the last two months, with many locations recording their lowest rainfall ever, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is experiencing significant drought conditions. Wildfires are occurring across the state (208 fires in October and 115 fires in November so far).
