Police Log: Man Threatens Library Employee, Driver Arrested on 3rd OUI Charge

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests
July 16, 8:36 p.m.: Police were alerted about a woman wanted on warrants, and they located her on Pilgrim Road. The 41-year-old Watertown woman was arrested on the warrants out of Waltham District Court, a default warrant for larceny under $1,200 and a second default warrant for driving with a suspended license and marked lanes violation. July 21, 8:18 p.m.: An officer patrolling in Watertown Square saw a vehicle run a red light going from Galen Street onto Main Street. The driver was stopped on Main near Whites Avenue.

Police Log: Driver Arrested on 3rd OUI, Man Gets in Trouble for Setting Off Fireworks

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests
July 4, 9:31 p.m.: Police received multiple reports of fireworks being set off in town, and when an officer was patrolling on near Mt. Auburn Street and Parker Street he noticed fireworks going off on Phillips Street. The officer saw a man light more fireworks. Police also found that the man was wanted on a warrant.

Police Log: Man Gets Takeout After Striking Light Pole, Serial Shoplifter Caught

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests
June 19, 3:55 p.m.: A shoplifter was spotted at Marshall’s concealing four Bluetooth speakers in his backpack and leaving the store without paying. He was stopped and the items were recovered. They were worth $139.96. The 54-year-old Boston man was stopped and arrested for shoplifting by concealing merchandise, a third offense.

Police Log: Man Chooses Wrong Spot to Drink Beer, Shoplifter Caught Changing Prices

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests
June 11, 6:22 p.m.: A concerned citizen reported seeing a man inside a Chevy Blazer drinking beer on Baptist Walk near Spring Street. The person also saw the man trying to start the vehicle and heard the motor cranking. Police responded and when officers approached the man threw his keys out the window. The man told officers he thought “it was a safe place to drink beers.”

Police Log: Packages Stolen from Apartment Building, Woman Busted for Break Ins

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrest
June 5, 7:08 p.m.: A woman wanted for breaking into to two halves of a two-family home on May 28 was arrested by Watertown Police. The woman was spotted by a man living in the downstairs unit when she was walking through his living room. Then she was seen by the upstairs resident taking a tool bag from his home. Later that day she was seen carrying two white milk crates full of  sporting equipment.

Police Log: Woman Caught Breaking into Homes, Drug Dealer Caught in CVS Parking Lot

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests
June 1, 1:35 a.m.: An officer checking speeds by radar on Pleasant Street spotted a vehicle heading westbound going over 50 mph. When the officer pulled out to follow the vehicle the driver went through a red light near Repton Circle. The officer put on the emergency lights and the other driver turned of his taillights and accelerated away toward Waltham. The driver attempted to turn right onto Seyon Street in Waltham and two wheels went up on the curb and then came to a stop.

Police Log: Man Arrested on Fugitive from Justice Warrant, Multiple OUI Arrests

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests
May 21, 1:19 a.m.: An officer spotted a vehicle heading eastbound on Main Street and then make a sharp right turn onto Pleasant Street, which is one way the opposite direction at that point. The officer stopped the driver and while speaking with the him the officer detected a strong odor of alcohol from the driver. The driver admitted to drinking alcohol before driving. He failed four field sobriety tests.
