Police Log: Road Rage Incident Turns Into Fight, Man Scams Store Using Venmo App

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests
Dec. 13, 1 p.m.: Police received a report of two men fighting in the middle of the roadway on Main Street near Chestnut. The two were seen punching each other. A witness saw one of the men leaving the area and did not get a description but saw the second man drive off in a blue Honda.

Police Log: Man Caught After Hit-and-Run Accident, Wallet Stolen & Credit Cards Used

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests
Dec. 5, 11:10 a.m.: A woman was seen in Target placing items into shopping bags in a carriage and then took a jacket off the shelf and put it on. The woman then tried to walk out of the store without paying. She had a total of $306.37 in merchandise.

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests
Nov. 21, 2 p.m.: Police went to the home of a man they knew was wanted on warrants. The 20-year-old Watertown man was arrested on four warrants: one from Brookline District Court for shoplifting and vandalizing property; one from Cambridge District Court on two counts of breaking and entering and one count of larceny from a boat; one from Brighton District Court for one count of resisting arrest and seven motor vehicle offenses; and one from Roxbury District Court for shoplifting. Nov. 14, 1:45 a.m.: Police spotted a Range Rover that was facing south in the westbound lane of Mt. Auburn Street near School Street. The SUV had its hazard lights on and a woman was standing outside.

Police Log: Cash Missing from Gas Station, Counterfeit Bills Used at CVS

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests
Nov. 9, 12:35 p.m.: A man was spotted in Target cutting the security device off a pair of earbuds valued at $63. Security called police. Meanwhile, the man took the headphones into the restroom and he was there when police arrived.

Police Log: Car Stolen Through Online Scam, Squatter Found in Foreclosed Home

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests
Oct. 31, 6:25 a.m.: A motorist called police to report that a man was asleep behind the wheel on Mt. Auburn Street at School Street. The motorist tried to wake the man, and when he awoke and he seemed dazed and confused.

Police Log: Man Struck by Vehicle, Man Arrested for Drug Possession

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests

Oct. 23, 2:55 a.m.: Police responded to CVS on Main Street for a report of suspicious activity. While they were there they encountered a man and in the course of speaking with him police discovered the man had a warrant for his arrest. The 45-year-old Waltham man was arrested on the warrant for trespassing.

Police Log: Driver Hits Van Head On, Faces OUI Charge; Campaign Signs Vandalized

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests
Oct. 17, 5:26 p.m.: An officer patrolling on Arlington Street spotted a vehicle being driven by a person he knew to have a suspended license due to an OUI pass by. The officer radioed in to have other officers be on the lookout, but the same vehicle came back in the opposite direction so the officer pulled the vehicle over. The driver had a strong odor of alcohol and showed signs of intoxication.
