Sept. 16, 6:10 p.m.: Officers in the area of Mt. Auburn Street and Melendy Avenue spotted a man whom they knew to be wanted on a warrant. After confirming that the there were active warrants for the man they took him into custody.

Sept. 7, 9:35 p.m.: A woman shopping in CVS in Watertown Square was in in the cosmetics aisle when a man approached and got very close to her. She became uncomfortable and began moving around the store, but he followed her without speaking. She left the store and he followed her to her vehicle.

Aug. 28, 3:30 a.m.: Police were called to a Robert Ford Road residence for a report of a disturbance. While speaking with the parties involved, police discovered that one had an outstanding warrant. The 59-year-old woman from Watertown was arrested for a warrant from Waltham District Court.

Aug. 21, 7:15 p.m.: An employee at Toyota of Watertown was moving a car onto Arsenal Street and when he opened the door a passing van struck the door and just missed the man. The white van kept going toward Brighton, and it had distinctive markings. Police stopped the van and found that the driver had a suspended license.

Aug. 16, 4 p.m.: Police responded to an accident at Mt. Auburn and Arlington streets. The accident was a minor one with no injuries, but officers found that one of the drivers involved had a warrant for her arrest.

Aug. 10, 1:34 a.m.: A driver struck three vehicles on Bromfield Street, including some parked vehicles. The 2015 Honda Fit had significant front end damage and the airbags deployed. The Fire Department checked the driver, who did not suffer serious injuries.

July 17, 4:40 p.m.: An officer patrolling in Watertown Square spotted a vehicle in the left turn lane on Galen Street go straight across the intersection onto Mt. Auburn Street. The officer pulled over the driver, who was unable to provide a driver’s license. Police found the man was driving without a license and was driving his brother’s car.

July 10, 8 p.m.: An officer in Watertown Square spotted a vehicle run a red light turning from Mt. Auburn Street onto Charles River Road. When police pulled the driver he said he did not have a license with him, but further investigation revealed that he has not had a valid license since May 2007. The 55-year-old Watertown man was arrested on the charge of driving with a suspended license, a subsequent offense.
