Police Log: Thieves Caught on Camera, iPhones Taken from Park

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests

Sept. 16, 6:42 p.m.: Police were send to Main Street for a report of a man who was possibly intoxicated. They found a man who was taken into protective custody because he was intoxicated and they discovered he had a warrant. The 53-year-old man from Newton was arrested on the warrant from Boston District Court for larceny.

Arrests

Sept. 10, 8:17 a.m.: An officer patrolling spotted a car speeding on Mt. Auburn Street. When he pulled over the car, the officer discovered the driver had a revoked license and a warrant. The 41-year-old man from Waltham was arrested for driving with a revoked license, speeding and a warrant for traffic violations from Concord District Court.

Police Log: Man Argues with Officer, Woman Steals Cellphone

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrest

Sept. 3, 5:41 p.m.: An officer pulled over a driver who ran a stop sign on Patten Street. When the officer asked for the man’s license and registration the driver became agitated, and began yelling and waving his arms. As the officer turned to go back to his cruiser the driver threatened the officer and swore at him. The man would not calm down after being asked to do so.
