Elizabeth "Bette" Perry

A Funeral Home Service will be celebrated on Monday, Sept. 23, 2015 in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home, Watertown for Elizabeth C. “Bette” (Murphy) Perry.

Mrs. Perry passed away in the Mount Auburn Hospital, Cambridge on Wednesday morning after a lengthy period of declining health. A daughter of the late Raymond and Elizabeth (McLaughlin) Murphy. She was 92 years old.

Born in Watertown, she was a life long resident of Watertown. Betty graduated from Watertown High School. She was a retired librarian from the Perkins School for the Blind, Watertown. Bette married her late husband Thomas in 1945. She was an avid reader and loved to watch golf on the TV, she knew all the players and wives, who was single, married or divorced, she knew it all.

She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Perry. Devoted mother of Lincoln Perry and his wife Dawn Wallner of California and Christine Allen of Belmont. Loving grandmother of Gregory Allen of Florida and Eric Allen of Grafton. Also loved by 4 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Ursula Ceglarski of Duxbury & the late Raymond Murphy & Mary Shaughnessy.

A Funeral Service will be held in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main St., Watertown on Monday September 28, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Visiting hour prior to the service, 10-11 a.m. Relatives and friends kindly invited.

Interment will be at Mt. Auburn Cemetery.
